Tulipe (Transferts d’Urgence de l’Industrie PharmaceutiquE) is an association that collects and provides medical kits in response to health emergencies around the world. For 40 years, it has been working in collaboration with healthcare companies, NGOs and humanitarian organisations to support populations in distress. In 2024, Tulipe asked Magina to completely redesign its website. Discover the stages of this project and how our employees rose to the challenge of designing and developing a modern and effective website!

The specifics of the project
The new website for the Tulipe association was built around several key issues:
- Complete modernisation: integration of the new graphic charter and an ergonomic and intuitive interface
- Optimised tree structure: for smooth navigation, with independent sub-sections and interactive categorisation
- Multilingualism and SEO: addition of an English version and improved search engine optimisation
- Increased interactivity: through dynamic sections, photo carousels, videos and calls for donations
- Simplified back office: easily accessible administration for association members
The challenges we face
During the redesign of the Tulipe association's website, our team faced several challenges:
- Interfacing dedicated solutions: integration of a payment module designed specifically for humanitarian organisations
- Extranet anticipation: preparation of infrastructure to host an extranet site tailored to members' needs
- Transactional email management: configuration of a reliable system to automate and personalise exchanges with partners
- Interactive donation pledges: implementation of interactive pop-ups to maximise contributions
- Immersive teaser video: creation of engaging visual content to present the site and optimise communication with committee members
Proven solutions
To effectively address the issues identified, the following solutions were implemented:
- Robust technologies: the WordPress CMS, without any overlay, with its native page builder and complete customisation, enabled intuitive customisation and simplified updates
- Continuous deployment: a GIT versioning system ensured accurate and collaborative tracking of changes
- Eco-friendly and inclusive design: the fully responsive site is eco-designed, while an accessibility module (UserWay) improves the user experience for all
- Solid foundations: implementation of WordPress Installer Magina & Starter Theme Magina, ensuring rapid deployment and a flexible structure for future developments
- Back-office user guide: provision of a detailed manual to support the Tulipe team in managing the site via the WordPress interface
The results
Tulipe's new website perfectly meets the expectations and specific requirements of the project:
- Simplified navigation: a clear tree structure and optimised access to the various sections, particularly for appeals for donations
- Intuitive interface: improved user experience thanks to a fluid and attractive design
- Integrated bilingualism: site available in French and English
- SEO-optimised texts: content written and structured for better search engine optimisation
- Dynamic highlighting: promotion of members and news through interactive modules
